Alice in Wonderland is absolutely jam-packing with symbolism, but not gu10 led light bulbs! Most of the adventures and characters in the book were based on situations, buildings, and people in Oxford and at Christ Church in particular. The book is abound with mathematical concepts.

The concept of a limit is pondered over in chapter one when Alice, in the midst of shrinking, Alice wonders if she will end up “going out altogether, like a candle”. In chapter two Alice attempts to work out a multiplication but produces strange results. Her calculations explore the representation of numbers utilising different positional numeral systems and different bases. In Chapter five the pigeon argues that girls are like a serpent as both girls and serpents eat eggs. This is a concept of abstraction used often in science and in mathematics this reasoning is called the substitution of variables.
It is just plain and simple – but ideal for going over the top of a bikini when on the beach or around the pool. It is only £12 – so if it did get ruined, I know it wasn’t expensive! The range is exclusively sold by USC.
